The Night Cat – Disco Mediterranea and Proto Exotica

Disco Mediterranea and Proto Exotica bring D.D. Mirage to The Night Cat on Saturday 29 March for a dazzling live launch of their debut album Exotic Illusions — a cosmopolitan blend of Italo disco, Neapolitan funk, Nigerian boogie, cosmic house and lovers’ rock. Expect a night of global grooves, deep cuts and hypnotic beats from the Sydney-based duo behind cult EPs Feel It / So Hot and Night Time.

Support comes from Orange Moon, a Naarm-based outfit blending jazzy rhythms, cultural percussion and smooth, soulful vocals inspired by Sade, Yussef Dayes and Kelela. Stick around as Disco Mediterranea and Proto Exotica close out the night with an after-hours mix of genre-bending sounds to keep you moving ’til late. 🌙🪩
